Reading Fun

For reading this week we are learning about grit and mindset here is some question we answer while learning:

  • What is a mindset, how can we describe different mindsets? A mindset is what you think there is fixed and growth, growth is when you think you can do it and you believe in yourself and fixed is the opposite.
  • How hard is it to shift your mindset? I think it is hard to change your mindset because it hard to believe in yourself.
  • What type of mindsets do successful people have? I think they have growth.
  • Do you think people are born with a particular mindset? I think that you develop a mindset as you get older.
  • What sort of mindset do you have? I think I have a growth mindset but sometimes I think I change to fixed. Does this change dependent on what you are doing? Yes I think I have a more growth mindset in sport and art.

we had to make some creates like what is your biggest takeaway from learning about Grit this is my biggest takeaway about learning about grit and mindset.

We also had to make a DLO of someone who have showed grit and persevered through something and did great things I did my mum.

Do you now know what I mindset is?

  1. Ka pai Ryan, what a great blogpost. My favourite part is that you used your mum as your inspirational person who has shown grit.
I wonder how you could have included a time when you have shown grit and perseverance?
