best math ever

In tumu this term my group have been learning how to do standard written form this is an example.

This a way to solve it so you work from the back so 3+3=6 so we put it on the back left.     
And then you go over to the next number and then you add 2+4=6 so you but a six down. 
 Then you go over to the next number witch is the hundreds place and then you add 1+1=2 and then you put that down and then you have your answer I hope you learnt something from reading this blog.

it is a math board if you were wondering it is what I have been working on for about 45 minutes the on e in the bottom right is a story and the in the bottom left is me solving it numerically and the one in the top left is a visual solution and the one in the top right is me solving it another way

soccer game

on Thursday week 3 term two 2019 we went for our second game  of soccer for the term.My team was missing two players but we were still going to win it.It was a cold day and I did not bring a jersey but I brought my school jacket.We had to wait a bit before we played but we got a team to play.In the end.We just started I was right defense I was just about to tie my shoe lace  when Hayun scored a goal my fingers were so cold I did not bother to tie my shoe lace we were winning 3-1 in the second half when Hayun scored again! we won the whistle  blow I quickly grabbed my dark blue jacket and then went to the team to do free cheers.Then we went over to the bus and went back to school.It was so fun.

here is a sneak peek of my S.U.W this is called full moon this is when I did the story 13.2.19

One stormy night drake was getting ready for bed when he saw a full moon outside.He tells his mum “are the werewolves coming out tonight “ she replied no.When drake went to bed he was wondering where his brother was he looked out the the window “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa” is all you could hear his mum came over “what “she said “there are werewolf” outside the window their was six werewolves running to houses to get more werewolves .He and his mum went to his brothers room to tell him that the had to go.But when they went to his room he wasn't their they thought he had gone to the shops so they grabbed the car keys and two pans and headed off.They asked the shopkeeper if he had seen him.He said he hadn't seen him since yesterday so they said “can you help us find him ” he said yes so they took a stick each and the hit werewolves in the face the turned back into humans so he helped take them down.After about a hour the still hadn’t found him so they kept on hitting the werewolves the took most of them down except one they hit him until he fell on the ground “what happened ” he said.They looked in shook it was Chris his brother the where so happy he was back they went back to their house and celebrated the end.

so this was my story a hoped you liked it.

PBL inventions super cool!!!!!

For PBL this term we have been focusing on making an invention we have been doing challenges for example who can hold the most marbles in a boat that you have to make
       you had:
    1 meter tape
       straws
       tin foil
        cups
and my group got 20 before our boat sinked.
 There was another called the car race were you had a toy car and you had to get it to one side of the table to another and who ever got the least amount of time won. My group got some string and tied it to the wheel of the car so we can pull it we ended up with a time of 0.5 seconds it was so fun we came 2nd.


Another thing we had to do was type down the evolution of the phones the oldest phone was  invented by Alexander Graham Bell which is something new I learnt.

Ryan's idea of saving the polar ice caps

                     This week for reading we read this article  What Is a Polar Ice  Cap?

What do I understand better that I have read this text that the ice in Antarctica is melting and the polar bears have nowhere to live.

The new ideas I have now I’ve read this text are:
1.Let people now that we are doing this
2.Let people know that we have to stop this
3.Stop using gas
 4.stop burning fossil fuels
5.Plant more trees                                                                                             

6.Give everybody free solar panels.
7.Turn off lights when you have left the house

What do I understand better that I have read this text that the ice in Antarctica is melting and the polar bears have nowhere to live.

#longest wait ever for cross country

This is what happened on Thursday we did the role and then we went to Walter park to do our cross country I new we were last to run but I did not now that we had to we had to wait that long I was so disappointed that we had to wait to the end to race ready go! I tried to get to the front but my friends were to fast then I stopped and had a break and walked for a we bi but then I heard my cousin shout come on Ryan start running so I started to jog   then I saw something I would never of seen before I was coming 4th witch was so good for me last time I did cross country I came 8th so I was so happy I speed up to see if I was getting close to the finish line I was I was so happy that I was close to the finish line because I was so tired.Yes I finished I was so happy I came 6th place!!
